The Blue Season

It's that time again.  Bluebonnet season in Texas.  They pop up everywhere they were NOT planted.  They seem to love my granite pathways the best which makes walking around a bit of a problem.  Don't want to step on any snakes!

Anyway...... I love them.  Enjoy the pics.

No way to get to the back gate without stomping on the bluebonnets.

The Iris do no show up much as they are the same color as the bluebonnets.

One tiny patch of California poppies.

Virginia Creeper makes a great shade ground cover.

Zoey the climbing wonder dog.

Ain't she cute?

I haven't the heart to pull up the flowers.  so how can I have a veggie garden!
